How do I improve my severe/profound sensorineural hearing loss naturally without hearing aids?
Q. Has anyone been able to improve their sensorineural hearing loss naturally? I want to hear better without(and with) hearing aids, especially in the high frequencies. What kinds of herbs or medicines can do this? Also what kind of hearing exercises should I do?

A. Impossible! once the hair cells are damaged they are damaged. there is no magical-medicinal cure for a sensory/ neural hearing loss. buck up and get your self some hearing aids. if you have a high frequency loss. make sure they have directional microphones and at the very least 8 channels so the audiologist has greater programming ease.

What kind of hearing aids in best for poor hearing?
Q. I am almost 95 years old. Back in 1983, I was in a car accident and lost most of my hearing. I can only hear 4% in one ear and 15% in the other. I have been through many hearing aids and none have really helped me. I live with my daughter and she says that I am just dreaming and nothing will restore my hearing. I really wish I would find a good brand? Is it possible that maybe a good brand does exist?

Hearing problems, does anyone have any home remedies that would help?
Q. I am deaf in my right ear.In my other ear sometimes I have a problem hearing, it seems clogged up and it's not ear wax, sounds like a bad drive thur speaker at a fast food restaurant, it goes away for awhile and I can hear just find, then it returns. I can't talk on the phone because it just sounds like static and people have to talk loud when my condition comes on. I can't really afford a doctor now, does anyone know of any home remedies that might help.

A. Yeah, try ear candles, and yeah you could have a food allergy -- also check out wheat in addition to the milk allergy possibility. Also, see how much sleep you're getting. Sometimes chronic sleep deprivation (like consistently not getting enough sleep or sleeping at the wrong hours even if you get enough time) can at least AFFECT how well you hear.
